The Simon Scholars Program gives individuals, foundations and corporations the opportunity to join together to provide the means for students from difficult backgrounds to attain a college degree. Supporters provide positive, measurable impact on the lives of disadvantaged at-risk teens. Every Simon Scholar accepted into the program has demonstrated strong college and life potential and is committed to fulfilling all the responsibilities that acceptance into this rigorous but highly rewarding program entails.

• The Simon Scholars Program has proven to be a valuable initiative in preparing students from difficult life and economic backgrounds for college. The program compliments academic support with the social and emotional support needed to be prepared for the academic rigor and social integration required in college.
• Of the students who have entered the Simon Scholars Program, 90.7% are still active today or have graduated college.
• Over 87% of our first class of Simon Scholars graduated from college in 2009, compared with a national average of only 10% of students from similar backgrounds.
